Aims or goals is something very difficult for me to imagine, I always live life in the now as opposed to thinking of the past or future, I never saw the point, I can’t change the past and I’ll never be able to predict the future, I suppose the most important thing would be to know people, the more you know and more people who know of you knowing stuff the more useful this all becomes, I would like to produce a lot of personal work whilst doing a commercial based job, the most logical thing to do when I finish uni would be to look at everywhere that has animation, illustration and even graphic design jobs and seek advice from them and possibly network with them.

I suppose I have no clear cut plans as I’m just going to continue what I’m doing currently, enjoy my work and mingle with other people, hopefully whilst I’m mingling they won’t notice that I don’t belong in their presence.

According to Sherm Cohen :shermcohen: (worked on such shows as Hey Arnold and currently SpongeBob Squarepants) going to conventions and producing your own comic is a good way for people to see your work, you need to put yourself out there, you can’t get a job if no one knows you exist so I suppose my aims are simple, first I want to get good, then I want to be seen.

For those of you that don't already know I've got my new computer built so that makes me happy as I can run Photoshop/After Effects etc and various games properly now, I'm using Windows 7 now which is a nice step up from XP, I really like 7, I know some of you are very meh with it but I love it and as long as something works for me I don't care if others don't like it.

I watched Fantastic Mr.Fox today and I really enjoyed it, if you haven't seen it already I'd highly recommend you go see it as I enjoyed every moment of it, I will honestly buy it on dvd on the release date, (which is something I rarely do) it's one of the best films I've seen this year.

I miss updating my journal regularly, I swear I remember a time where I did it all the time, almost like a diary, meh, I just don't like looking at entries from a month(s) ago.

I like to delay the things that I know I have to do, I don't know why cause if I did them earlier I wouldn't have to do them later or put it off constantly, the weird thing is I love playing around in Adobe programs but the moment someone tells me to do it or threaten to look at the stuff I'm doing I'm no longer as eager to do it.

Also my computer seems to be totally screwed, it's running dreadfully slow and photoshop is too frustrating to run in it now, I'm either going to see if I can restore my computer to prior it being retarded or if I can just outright buy a new one, it looks like I'm probably going to buy a new one at this rate, which both sucks cause it's a lot of money but would also be really cool so I have mixed feelings about it, I mean I have had this computer for a while so it's about time I got a new one, everytime I use After Effects on this computer it runs like a fat kid going uphill.

I felt like writing a journal cause I never do it and I like writing journal entries.

Finally got all my stuff sorted in my uni room, well I've still got a bit of unpacking to do but least I've finally got my own internet connection now, so hopefully I'll get back on track with doing work etc.
(there are lots of things I want to do but never seem to get around to)

I'm probably going to be without a proper interweb connection for a few days, infact I'll probably be off my computer completly and my online presence won't be fully restored till the 22nd.
(which is a little bit annoying cause I've got a ton of unfinished work I want to post, I was hoping I'd have them all posted by now but instead I'll just have to finish them after I settle down)
