2013

So I left the graphic design/print job I had, I was really unhappy there, I don't think anything ever made me feel as depressed as that job did, so finally leaving there was the best feeling in the world.

Despite disliking the job I did learn a lot so at least I have something to take out of it.

2012 was a strange year, a lot of 'firsts', first magazine illustration, first time being an extra in a film, first full time graphic design job etc, got health and safety training from the BBC, went to a lot of networking events.

I think the highlights were being in a music video & 2 films and I loved the illustration I did for FD2D as it allowed me to use my own style.

I want to do more work in the film industry whether it be an extra or in production as it was really fun, I want to get more illustration out there but most importantly I want to get more animation done, both personal, commercial and assisting others with their projects.

There is a lot I want to accomplish in 2013, mainly I want to take my work to the next level, over the years my work has improved and that makes me happy, but I really need to push it even further, people look at some of my stuff and go that's nice, but no one is awestruck by it.

I feel more confident in my own skills and I'll defiantly be doing a lot more freelance work in 2013.
